Privacy Policy

Who we are

Allstar Sportsgames (“Allstar Sportsgames,” “we,” or “us”) cares your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, protect, and share personal information, including when you use our website allstarsportsgames.com (the “Site”).

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

There are a few different situations where we may collect your personal information.

Purchase Information and Contact Forms

If you purchase our products or create an account with the Site, we collect certain personal information, including your name, billing and mailing address, phone number, and email address, to facilitate the transaction. Payment card information on our Site is handled by our third-party service providers, such as PayPal.
We also may collect your personal data through form submissions. You will know what information you give us, because you’ll type it into the form, but examples of these forms may include surveys, feedback, or newsletters. The reason for collecting the data should be self-evident for each specific form. If you have any concerns with what information is collected or why, do not submit the form.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the Site we collect the data shown in the comments form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
All comments that you upload to a public-facing part of the Site will be available to other visitors of the Site.

Media

If you upload images to the Site, they will be freely accessible to other visitors of the Site. You should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, as that may also be accessible to visitors of the Site.

Cookies

When you visit this Site, we may also collect certain information by automated means, such as cookies. A “cookie” is a text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. When you first access the Site on your browser, we will give you an option to accept any cookies that are not essential to the performance of the Site. This section provides a more detailed explanation of the cookies that we use on the Site, although please note that the following two sections cover any cookies or technology used by parties other than Allstar Sportsgames.
If you leave a comment on the Site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to the Site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on the Site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Similarly, this Site may contain links to websites operated by third parties. These websites are governed by third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, the practices of third parties that collect your personal information.

Analytics

We use third-party analytics to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing the number of visitors to the different sections of the Site, what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. For Site security purposes and to ensure that the Site remains available to all users, we use software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.

Basis for processing personal information

Our primary basis for collecting your personal information is the performance of a contract with you (e.g., fulfilling your purchases), although we also may collect personal information where you have provided your consent or where the processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection rights or freedoms. Finally, in some cases, we may process personal information as necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Who we share your data with

We may disclose aggregated and/or anonymized information about our users without restriction. We may disclose your personal information to our affiliates, or to contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business. Such third parties are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them. We may also disclose your personal information to: (a) comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; (b) enforce or apply our agreements with you; and/or (c) if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Allstar Sportsgames, users of this Site, or others.
We also reserve the right to transfer your personal information to a buyer or other transferee in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, sale, or other transfer of some or all of our assets. Should such a sale, merger, or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use your personal information in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Policy.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on the Site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). We will retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so.

What rights you have over your data

You have the following rights regarding your personal information and our privacy practices:

Access, Correct, or Delete Personal Information. If you have an account on the Site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase, update, or correct any personal data we hold about you, although this does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Promotional Communications. You have the right to opt out of any promotional communications that you receive from us by unsubscribing through the methods set forth in the communication, although please note that you may not opt out of service-related communications.
Object to Processing. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information by contacting us at the information set forth below.

If you believe we might have any personal information from or about a child under the age of 18, please contact us as described below.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Allstar Sportsgames reserves the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will indicate on this Site that our privacy practices have changed and will provide a link to the new policy.
