Alcaraz and Norrie win tournaments in Rio and Delray Beach

Carlos, 18, won the biggest title of his career and secured his debut in the top 20

The finals of tournaments in Brazil and the United States were held.

In the bigger ATP 500 tournament in Rio, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz defeated Diego Schwartzman of Argentina. For Carlos, 18, it is the second and now the most prestigious title of his career.

As of Monday, Alcaraz will be a top-20 player. Only Andrey Medvedev and Pete Sampras have been younger than him in the last 30 years in the top 20.

In the ATP 250 championship at Delray Beach, Britain’s Cameron Norrie beat American Reilly Opelka on two tie-breaks to win the title match. Norrie notched his third career title.
