Aubameyang is the first to score a hat-trick in four top leagues in the 21st century

A landmark achievement in the career of the Gabonese forward

Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a hat-trick against Valencia 4-1 on Matchday 25 of the Spanish championship. The Gabonese player has become the first footballer in the 21st century to score three goals in the French, German, English and Spanish championships.

Initially, 32-year-old Aubameyang did double in the match, but later the goal, which was scored by midfielder Pedri, was rewritten to the Gabonese.

Aubameyang joined Barcelona in the winter transfer window as a free agent.

Aubameyang had previously scored hat-tricks for Saint-Etienne, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal.
